Support for services to develop resilience to disasters

12 November 2025

The Tasmanian Government want to help Tasmanian-based not-for-profit organisations that provide essential personal support services to the community.

This funding will help them stay prepared for disasters and recover quickly if they are affected, so people who rely on their services—such as food relief, crisis support, housing, or family violence support—continue to get the help they need with as little disruption as possible.

If you are eligible, you can apply for up to $20,000.

There are three categories to choose from:

  • Category 1: Develop or update a service continuity plan with the help of consultants.
  • Category 2: If you already have a plan, the grant funding will contribute towards putting actions from your plan into place.
  • Category 3: Develop your own service continuity plan, and the grant funding will contribute towards putting actions from your plan into place.

The total funding available for this program is up to $500,000.
