'Dover and surrounds' is made up of Dover, Brooks Bay, Raminea, Police Point, Waterloo, Strathblane, Surges Bay, Hastings, Cairns Bay, Recherche, Southport, Surveyors Bay, and Glendevie.

The Dover and surrounds overall Liveability Index was 53.3 in May 2025 compared with Huon Valley's overall index of 55.5
